René en Wim bouwden hun eigen douche
Wat heb je nodig in deze tijd zonder douche op de camping.
Afgelopen zaterdag waren ze bij ons van het AD.
Een leuk stukje hebben ze van mij en Willem gemaakt.

Yaesu 891 voor portable gebruik
Na lange tijd en natuurlijk eerst de FT879 en FT857 te hebben gehad ben ik na het wegdoen van een Kenwood set aan de FT891 begonen.

De FT897 is een hele andere radio met een menu wat gewoon bizar is.
De eerste verbindingen thuis al even gemaakt om de instellingen goed te zetten, maar ik weet zeker dat ik met deze radio en de Jeep nog vele verbindingen zou maken op mooie portable plekjes in Europa.

Jeep tourtje gedaan op zoek naar radio amateurs bij de landtong
Gisteren een gaan kijken of de landtong bij Rozenburg nog gebruikt wordt door diverse radio amateurs.
De heen reis heerlijk binnen door gereden door het Westland en zo naar de pont gereden. Echt een heerlijk ritje op het gemak.
Daarna relax in de zon op de landtong, wat een mooie dag was dat.
Helaas geen Zend amateurs gezien, maar des ondanks was het de moeite weer waard om daar langs te rijden.

Verontrustende onheilspellende nieuws voor Karl KA3RCS R.I.P.
Slechts nieuws kwam mij ter gehoor. Bij zijn laatste SOTA-activering is het mis gegaan.
Ham Radio saves the day
Ham Radio saves the day. Yes, todays technology has advanced to the cell phone, internet and more, but only Ham Radio can save the day when the cell phones and internet are down and many people are without power for communications.
Zo dat was even wat film materiaal uit de oude doos. Best wel even leuk om tegen te komen op het internet.
